Non-Fiction Book Proposal Packages

Sell a non-fiction book project to an agent/publisher prior to writing a complete manuscript. Agents and/or publishers require a query letter, a comprehensive proposal (including marketing plan, comparable titles, target audience, author bio), an outline/table of contents and some sample pages to consider signing an author.
I can help you prepare your book proposal for submission to agents and publishers.

*Rates start at $25,000

Book Packages may include:
-15-45 hours of interview time (in person and/or by video conference or phone)
-Reading and critiquing a pre-existing book.

-A stellar proposal.
-In depth market research.
-An extensive outline of your entire book project.
-Ghostwriting and/or revision of sample pages.
-Submission to five agents/publishers of your choice.

Advantages to preparing a proposal package first

  1. *If a publisher offers you a deal, its possible you may get an advance on the book.  The advance can offset or cover the costs of writing the entire book.
  2. A proposal package includes a substantial portion of your book. This will allow you to become comfortable with the process, the material and how you work with a ghostwriter.
  3. Book proposals contain extended outlines, which will provide you with a road map for your book moving forward.
  4. If your book is timely, it will help secure a space for it in the publishing world in a shorter time period. We will then be working informed by the publishers tastes/needs.
  5. You will know whether your book is marketable and in demand prior to writing it.
  6. If an agent signs on your book he/she then will shop it around to editors at various publishing companies. Your work will circulate as you are writing it.
