The first thing I do when ghostwriting is to provide a series of in-depth interviews during which I gently guide clients through their stories. This material is used to envision chapters, characters, plot and potential structures for the book. I create a rough outline and begin writing the books. I decided to provide the same valuable service to authors who would like to write their own books, but want to generate some raw material, first. I am a sensitive listener with the ability to help navigate through difficult subject matter and intuit storylines. I also possess odd literary sleuthing skills; an ability to mine memories. Interviewing Package Includes: 1. Recorded personal interview (weekly or bi-weekly 1-2 hour sessions) 2. Interviewing may be geared towards particular book goals: plot/storyline, character, dialogue, theme. 3. Professionally typed transcriptions of interviews. 4. Downloads of each sessions recordings. 5. Gentle guidance towards the heart of a storyline. 6. Ideas/suggestions from ghostwriter on how to use generated materials. 7. Creative inspiration.
In depth interviewing can be an important tool. Save valuable energy and lay down the bones of your story, generate raw emotional material, and process the story. Then you can begin to write slowly, from a new place and focus your attention on the beauty of language you are laying down on the page.
15-30 hour packages available. Rates run from $9,000-16,000.
Recordings can be an invaluable resource to help generate new material. Benefits may include: * Mine your subconscious for memories of specific events, people, places..... * Draw up unexpected sensory memories which will add richer details to your book. * Pinpoint what material is most emotionally charged for you. * Develop a rough idea of directions your book may take.
